Beginning
My career, like any other, has been entirely unique.
.
I never followed a straight path — it seemed tedious and repetitive to me. Instead, I built a multifaceted career, shaped by consistent delivery, high performance, and earned recognition.
2000
Chapter #1
.
My professional story is best told in chapters:
.
The first chapter begins in my university years. I studied Advertising and Marketing, and soon after, completed a postgraduate program in Market Communication at ESPM — one of the most respected schools of creativity and business in South America.
.
During that time, I worked extensively as an Account Executive, always very client-facing. I held roles in sales representation, inside sales, internet and e-commerce, and account management.
2005
Postgraduate
Between 2002 and 2005, I worked in advertising and client relations at ShopFacil.com.br, a pioneering Brazilian e-commerce portal whose business model mirrored what Amazon.com has become today. There, I personally closed over 80% of all active contracts, which accounted for approximately 50% of the portal’s total revenue.
.
I also worked as an Account Executive at a communications agency, handling clients such as ALCOA, Medial Saúde, and FGV-EAESP — Brazil’s leading business school.
.
After coordinating the Marketing department of an HR consultancy firm, I applied for a role at a management consulting firm and became a Business Consultant. That’s where the second chapter begins.
2007
Chapter #2
I specialized in Balanced Scorecard and learned extensively about organizational processes and structure. I took part in highly relevant and complex projects focused on corporate strategy design and its full deployment across private and public institutions, such as the Government of the State of Minas Gerais. There, I led countless workshops for Secretaries, Chiefs of Staff, civil servants, and even the Governor himself at the time.
.
From 2008 to 2010, I was involved in implementing the Federal Government’s Growth Acceleration Program (PAC), working as a consultant and speaker in an endless series of strategic projects and high-level workshops. During this time, I delivered consistent work and presentations to Secretaries of the Ministry of Health, Chiefs of Staff, and Ministers of State.
2011
Master in Science of BA, MSc
Immersed in a highly intellectual environment, rich in technical readings, I began my academic chapter in 2009 by enrolling in a Master’s program in Business Administration at UMESP in São Paulo, Brazil. I studied for two and a half years (2008–2011) on a full academic scholarship granted for my performance.
.
It’s worth noting that no chapter in my story entirely overlaps or excludes the others — in time or in focus. Often, they unfolded simultaneously.
.
I taught the Business Games course for six years at FMU – Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas, in São Paulo. There, I also lectured in Strategic Planning and Organizational Theory, both at undergraduate and graduate levels. I fell in love with education.
2021
Chapter #3
In 2021, I became a certified Investment Advisor and joined a wealth management firm — Braúna Investimentos — as a partner. The firm manages the equivalent of 2 billion dollars in assets under custody, providing high-level financial advisory to a diverse client base. I stayed there for two years, raising over 20 million dollars in new assets.
.
In 2022, I received the award for “Top 10 Investment Advisors of the Year”. I maintained an NPS above 97% and a negligible churn rate, below 1%.
Still in 2022, seeking a better place to raise my wonderful wife and our lovely daughter, we moved to Nova Scotia, Canada — and thus, a new chapter began.
I graduated in International Business at NSCC in 2024.
2025
Nova Scotia
In Nova Scotia, I worked for four months in my co-op placement (a mandatory internship as part of the International Business program), and then for three months as a Service Advisor at Steele Auto.
