corporate strategy design, quantitative methods and agile execution

Well, for nearly the past 20 years, I have been working in corporate strategy.

I served as an associate strategy consultant on various projects involving the design, implementation, and management of corporate strategy for public organizations such as Brazil’s Ministry of Health, ANS, Anvisa, Hemobrás, the Government of the State of Minas Gerais, and private companies such as Ambev, HP, Natura, Alcoa, Unibanco, among others.

I also worked on internal communication and innovation projects, mainly based on Agile Methods. I visited Sysco in Munich, Germany, during the same trip in which I spent two weeks studying for the SMO (Strategy Management Officer) certification.

Between 2012 and 2020, I worked exclusively at Fundação Bradesco, leading the Strategic Planning and Statistics departments and, as Department Manager, overseeing Controllership and Accounting while steering the organization’s corporate strategy, managing a CA $240 M annual budget and a CA $1.5 B investment portfolio, and ensuring every dollar stayed linked to mission-critical objectives.

More recently, I joined Braúna Investimentos, becoming a partner and financial advisor. In my very first year, I was recognized as one of the Top 10 Advisors of 2022 (highest NPS).

Along the way I taught undergraduate and MBA courses in strategy, research methods and analytics for almost 15 years, turning theory into skills thousands of professionals still use on the job.
